Cassandra Gill is a contemporary printmaker and jeweller who is based out of Melbourne, spending time also in her small Brisbane studio. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honours in 2014 at RMIT University. Incurably curious about travel and the natural world her work looks to explore identity, through the fragile and transient nature of memory on the surface of objects through texture and print. Her work dips in and out of print and jewellery as she seeks to explore marks on the surface of objects and the marks made by the natural world. Highlights of her print work stretch to the far North where she has spent time in Indigenous communities throughout the Northern Territory working on print projects with local artists.
